RENOVATIONS COMPONENTS
GMV is at the forefront of lift safety, offering components that meet the latest industry standards and standards. Amendment A3 to EN 81-2, now incorporated into EN 81.20, introduced the requirement for devices to prevent uncontrolled movement of the open door cabin in new lift lifts. GMV support this standard through the implementation of the double safety lock on the hydraulic valve assemblies.
The 2003 EN 81-80 standard defined the risk of uncontrolled movement of the open door cabin in existing lift as “high”. In June 2016, CEN updated the text and launched a new version of EN 81-80 (pr EN 81-80:2016) to align it with the recent EN 81.20 standard.
